Economy and Society from a Historical and Cultural Studies Perspective

The key research area brings together researchers from the Faculty of Historical and Cultural Studies and related subjects. Its aim is to examine the diverse relationships between the economy and society from a historical and cultural studies perspective, drawing on a wide range of empirical, theoretical and methodological approaches.

The key research area sees itself as a forum for discussing central issues and topics relevant to cultural studies, social and economic historical approaches and analyses.

The key research area acts as a cooperation partner for workshops, conferences and individual events, as well as for publication projects.

The members of the key research area represent a broad spectrum of interrelated topics, which they reflect on and discuss, research and write about, and which they also incorporate into their teaching.
